CHEM 110

An introduction to the principles of Chemistry: reaction stoichiometry and the mole concept, periodic properties of the elements, atomic and molecular structure, thermochemistry, chemical bonding, chemical reactions, and the properties of gases and condensed phases.

One of the classes I take is Chemistry. I am not a big chemistry fan but I understand why it is necessary in the science field. I don’t like my professor for chemistry. He is new to teaching and I can see he’s struggling. I also have a lab with this class with the same professor. He is a better lab professor then lecture professor I think even though lab needs little instruction. I do enjoy conducting experiments in the lab. Overall I like think this class is a key part to my understanding of science and will be helpful for me in the science field throughout my four years at UNE and beyond.

Below is a link to a sample chemistry lab report. This was not my first chemistry lab, but more in depth and criticized than I’ve had in the past. This taught me a lot about peer review and getting helpful feedback.
