MAR 105

This course introduces the basic principles of ecology and evolutionary biology with focus on the marine environment. Topics covered include marine ecology at the population, community and ecosystems level; evolutionary principles; and the systematics, taxonomy and general biology of marine animals, algae and aquatic plants. Fieldwork and laboratory investigations are an integral part of the course.

My favorite class I take is Marine Biology. Being a Marine major I enjoy learning as much as I can in this field. I really enjoy my teacher as she is very knowledgeable in her field. With this class I also have a lab with this class which is very informative and hands on. Being able to interact with the organisms we learn about in lecture is very unique an amazing way to learn. I feel that in this class, I have gained a strong foundation for my future classes in Marine Biology and for my career.

Below is a link to a sample lab report I had in Marine Bio lab. This was a chance for me to do lab type procedures in the marine science field. This was both a very fun and interesting experience for to.
